Films have the power to sharpen society’s view of our world and eliminate stereotypical and discriminatory role models.

Mastercard, as a long-standing co-partner of the Berlinale, launched a campaign on the occasion of the 73th International Film Festival in Berlin addressing the importance of diversity in film. As a testimonial for the campaign, the technology company Thelma Buabeng has won, which has made a name for herself not only as an actress, presenter and comedienne, but is also present as a committed activist for diversity and equality.
